Getting Noticed; Getting In.

Return clients are a strong testament to our success.  We have been hired to advise many of the younger brothers and sisters – and cousins -- of students we have counseled in the past.  Families return because they know we listen carefully to students and their parents and tailor our approach accordingly. The one constant is our understanding of colleges.
We excel at:
Identifying the specific strengths students have that will appeal to admissions offices
Understanding different schools, directing students to programs (for example, business v. economics in liberal arts) where they are more likely to be successful in admissions
Conceptualizing and helping to draft the personal statement, the supplements, and the all-important activity list
Helping students understand what courses they’d be taking if they pick a particular college major to insure they know what they’re getting into for the next four years
Knowing every part of the application and directing students to use different sections strategically
Following up with students and helping them insure that a filed application is complete
Offering a manageable timetable that works with students’ busy schedules
Preparing students for interviews with an admissions officer or alumnus
